Helen Crawford - freelance artist
Based in South Australia.
Helen has developed numerous quality community projects in SA for over 15 years. These have included mixed media installations, mosaics and murals.
Helen engages people of all levels and abilities to engage, learn, discover and express creative skills in the creation of community arts projects. She brings out the best in those who she works with.
Helen's practice as an artist in her own right includes mixed media sculpture (i.e. clay, bronze and glass), and mixed media works on paper/canvas.
Helen has worked in Arts in Health, Ageing and Mental Health sectors as an artist, coordinator and consultant. She has developed and presented educational workshops and documents to encourage arts and health understanding and practice to grow.
